Romania and Poland signed an agreement on strategic partnership

Romanian President Traian Basescu and who is here visiting Polish President Lech Kaczynski on Wednesday signed an agreement on strategic partnership.
Basescu said that the agreement will promote bilateral cooperation in the field of security, energy, sustainable development and agriculture. The two presidents also exchanged views on the Lisbon Treaty and the Balkan issue.
L. Kaczynski Oct. 6 began a two-day official visit to Romania. This year marks the 90 th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between the two countries. Basescu, in March of this year, paid an official visit to Poland. - 0 –
