Polish Defense Minister received state award of Ukraine

Today in Warsaw Polish Defense Minister Bogdan Klich was awarded a State Order of Ukraine “For Merits” of II degree. According to an UNIAN correspondent, the Minister for the award on behalf of President Victor Yushchenko presented the Ukrainian Ambassador to Poland Oleksandr Motsyk.

According to UNIAN, Ukrainian Ambassador to Poland Oleksandr Motsyk presented the award to the Minister on behalf of President Victor Yushchenko.

Ambassador praised the development of Polish-Ukrainian relations of Klich, who served as a Minister since the end of 2007. In turn, Klich thanked for the award and expressed hope for further active development of relations between Ukraine and Poland.

As reported, January 19, the state awards of Ukraine were received by four other Polish dignitaries, including the head of the National Security Bureau of Poland, Aleksander Schiglo.
