“Gazprom” will increase the supply to Poland

“Gazprom export”, the Polish PGNIG and Europol Gaz (the owner of Polish section of gas-pipe Yamal - Europe) signed a tripartite agreement, reported the Polish Puls Biznesu: the document envisages an increase in gas supplies and the extension of the contract.

The volume of shipments was increased to 10.2 billion cubic meters (under the current agreement - 8 billion cu. m per year), and the term of the contract was extended from 2022 to 2037.

The contract for gas transit, according to Polish edition, extended to 2045, the tariff on gas is not clear.

Now the tariff on Europol Gaz - is $ 2,05 for pumping of 1000 cubic meters of gas per 100 kilometers, said Peter Sekletski to “Vedomosti”. Though the previous agreement between Russia and Poland involved the different rates - they had to be lowered: from $ 2.74 till 2003 up to $ 1 in the years 2014-2019.

The representative of “Gazprom” does not comment this information. The representatives of PGNIG and Europol Gaz also had no comment.
