Poland facilitated the procedure of issuing visas for Ukrainians

The Polish Embassy facilitated the procedure of issuing visas to the citizens of Ukraine.

The letters with information on wages and vacation, bank reference, copy of the work book are extracted from the list of required documents for visa application.

Now you need to submit only a passport, application form, photos, insurance, and paid reservation of hotel (or a letter of invitation), says DELO.

In turn, the press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Alexander Dikusarov confirmed that the results of negotiations with the Polish side, the procedure of consular registration of the Republic of Poland for Schengen visas for Ukrainian citizens is simplified.

According to him, the certificate of employment, a copy of the workbook, the certificate from the bank references are extracted from the list of documents required for certain categories of citizens for obtaining Schengen visas.

Procedure for obtaining tourist and business visas will be also simplified, the representative of the Foreign Ministry.

According to DELO, businessmen need only the original letter of invitation, and tourists - partly paid hotel reservation).

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine is holding active negotiations with other EU member states for further simplification of visa procedures for Ukrainian citizens both at the bilateral level and through changes to the agreement between the EU and Ukraine on visa facilitation” - said Dikusarov.

DELO notes that the Ukrainian citizens gladly travel to Poland, not only for tourism but also for shopping. So, for the second quarter this year, they purchased the goods for 220 million dollars in Poland, which is by almost 20% more than in the first quarter.
