ABM interceptor missiles will be stationed in Poland until 2018

The agreement and additional protocol between the U.S. and Poland to deploy interceptor missiles came into force on 15 September, said the State Department on Thursday morning.
“The U.S. and Poland reported that the agreement on missiles by 2008 and the additional protocol of 2010 to deploy interceptor missiles SM-3 in Poland came into force on September 15,” - said the press service of the U.S. State Department.
The components of ABM, which will become a part of European missile defense system (EuroABM) will be located in Poland by 2018. Two days ago, the U.S. signed an agreement with Romania to host missile defense components, reminds Prime.
