The Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk represented the new Government to the President of the Republic, at the end of last week.
Among the new participants - Joanna Mucha, who headed the Ministry of Sports and Tourism of Poland, succeeding Adam Hersh.
Now a 35-year-old politician will be responsible for the preparation of the country for Euro 2012 in the Polish government.
On Monday, the new Minister of Sports began her work.
According to her, first of all, Joanna Mucha will meet her predecessor, as well as the president of the Polish Football Union, Grzegorz Lato.
“I understand the responsibility of the post, but I am confident that I will solve all the problems and challenges I will face.
Euro 2012 and the Olympic Games are an absolute priority, but the development of physical culture is also an important issue”, - assured the Minister.
It is interesting that Joanna Mucha has a blue belt in Shotokan, a style of karate. She has also an excellent command of English.
